During 1996-7 Helen and I sailed our Kingfisher 30 Mairi Sona, from the UK to Brazil and back. This was a trip of a lifetime although I hope that sometime in this lifetime we'll be able to sail across the oceans again. In the meantime we have sailed various boats from a Nicholson 26 (which was lovely), a Wayfarer (which was far too scary) inwhich we made a great trip in the waters of the Isle of Skye, a Trident 24 (which didn't work out) and at present, a Drascombe Lugger, which we haven't sailed far but promises to be fantastic!
